Summer Information

Dear Players, Parents, and Families,

Welcome to the Northview LadyKat Soccer Program!

We are excited to begin another great season together and are thrilled to have both returning and new families joining our LadyKat soccer community. Our program is built on hard work, commitment, teamwork, sportsmanship, and pride in representing Northview both on and off the field.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we look forward to developing our players not only as athletes, but also as leaders and teammates. We are committed to creating a positive, competitive, and supportive environment where every player can grow and succeed.

Attached is our current training calendar. Please note that times and locations may change throughout the season, and we will communicate any updates as they occur.

Here is the link for training gear: https://northviewgirlssoccer2026.itemorder.com/

The following items are mandatory:

  • Gold shirt (long sleeves or short sleeves, player’s choice. It does get cold towards the end of the season)
  • Black shirt (used for pregame) (long sleeves or short sleeves, player’s choice. It does get cold towards the end of the season)
  • Socks (both white and black) (Sleeves are available for players that don’t like socks)
  • Warm-up top (player’s choice on which style they would like to wear)
  • Warm-up pants

Please note that the warm-up pants are different from previous years and are not as tight-fitting. (per the vendor)

If players already have gear from past years. You do not have to purchase. I will ask to ensure your socks are serviceable and the proper color (specifically white).

Training uniform:

  • Gold shirt
  • Black shorts
  • Black socks

Players shorts and socks do not have to be Nike for training.

Players will receive Uniforms later in the year. That consists of Home and Away Kits (Jersey and shorts) (players will also receive a backpack for the season).

Orders will be shipped to the school in bulk. I will pick them up and pass them out once they arrive.

Summer training is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended.

June will be more relaxed — we’ll be playing games, building fitness, and having fun.

July will be a little more intense. While it is still not mandatory, it is highly recommended. We’ll begin preparing for the season and continue improving our fitness and conditioning.

Tryouts will be held on August 1st and 2nd.

New players: don’t stress. Talk to your teammates — they’ll help you out and let you know what to expect.

From August through the end of the season, attendance is mandatory.

The coaches know what summer is like for families — visiting relatives, vacations, and spur-of-the-moment trips to the lake. We understand and encourage family time because it is important.

If your player is going to miss training during the summer, please have them communicate that directly with the coaches. All communication should come from the player to the coaches. Keeping us informed is important and helps us plan effectively throughout the summer.

We encourage everyone to stay connected and involved throughout the season. Parent support and player commitment are essential to the success of our program, and we appreciate all that you do to help make LadyKat Soccer special.

Thank you for being part of the Northview LadyKat Soccer family. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful season ahead!

Go LadyKats!
