PERRYSBURG - In the second match-up of the season, Northview was victorious over Perrysburg in four sets, 25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-17.
Leading for Northview was senior outside hitter, Xavi Hale with 12 kills, hitting .219, and adding 4 blocks. Also leading for the Cats was sophomore outside hitter, Drew Longardner, with 10 kills, hitting .188, while adding 16 digs and winning 9 points on serve. The middles were key to the victory with 7 kills and 4 blocks from senior Nolan Smith and 5 kills, hitting .444, and adding 6 blocks from junior Matt Haefner. Senior libero, Anthony Pedro recorded a team high 24 digs with a team-high 2 aces and sophomore setter, Cooper Smith dished out 32 assists, 11 digs, 2 blocks and 9 points won on serving.
