Generals Prove to be Too Much for the Cats on Pink Night

SYLVANIA - It was Pink Night in Sylvania as both the Generals and Wildcats gathered together to fight for Northview sophomore, Avery Kenney and to gather donations for Nationwide Toledo Children's hospital. Together, the night was able to raise over $8,000 directly for the Kenney family. It was truly a special night, especially for the Kenney's.
On the court, the match was bound to be a good one, and the Generals were successful in taking the victory in straight sets.
Leading for Northview was sophomore middle blocker, Reese Holmes, with 6 kills, hitting .455. The Cats received additional offense from Talia Twigg with 6 kills, hitting .033; and Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 7 kills. Passing was the bright spot for the Cats as they passed a 2.09 but the offense struggled to find any rhythm. Junior setter, Alayna Sauer has 21 assists and 10 digs.
