SYLVANIA - In the lone match-up for Northview vs. Southview, and it was the Cats with the straight set victory on Cats for Dogs Night to support the Lucas County Pit Crew, raising approximately $3,000! With their 4th straight set victory in a row, Northview moves to 9-5 overall, 7-3 in the NLL and 3-2 in the Buckeye Division. This is Northview's 7th consecutive victory of Southview.
Leading for Northview was junior setter, Alayna Sauer, with her career 1,000th assist, as she dished out 30 tonight along with 8 digs. The offense was lead by senior opposite, Bri Langenderfer with 10 kills, hitting .409; junior middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 8 kills, hitting .313; and senior outside hitter, Talia Twigg with 8 kills as well. Defensively, the Cats were led by sophomore libero, Jade Hagan, with a team-high 14 digs and junior defensive specialist, Kyra Ervin, added 12 digs and a team-high 4 aces. Sophomore middle blocker, Reese Holmes, led with 2 blocks.
